In march I got called into the young womans, and I was so excited, but after I got engaged I realized that meant that I had to go to girls camp! DON DON DON. Normally I would have loved it, but I had too much wedding planning on the brain and I didn't want to waste any time, plus I heard that My BCF was going to come into town that weekend. What are the chances! It was totally different planning girls camp as a leader than it was as a young woman. I had to pack not only for myself, but for them as well just in case they forgot anything.

It was a stake girls camp and it rained the whole time we were there! It was so muddy climbing up the hill that a few of the cars got stuck and had to be pushed up the mountain. Luckily Bryce let me drive his truck and so I had no problems going up the hill. The girls complained almost as much as it rained.
They had classes for the girls to take every morning, but afterward we mostly sat around the campfire

They had a craft. I was in charge of it and I had the girls make camp journals

Me and one of my friends from the ward were both leaders together, which made it kind of fun!

There was a zip line that we went down

(Don't ya just love the smiles on everyone's face, and how everyone has coats and ponchos on. Ace of Base said it right when they said everytime it rain's I get wet!!)
The last night there they did a devotional. We went on a nature walk and had a few stops along the way. At each stop there were different scenarios that each of us go through throughout life, and trying to make the right choices and endure to the end. Out of all the things were did the girls like this the best, they even decided that maybe girls camp wasn't so bad after all, but note to self never plan girls camp the beginning of June.
