Camille wanted to throw me a family shower, but she kind of got screwed out of it. I felt really bad about it, but I promised that she could throw me a baby shower (no I am not making an announcement). She, my mom, Margo, and the Erickson girls all helped through this shower and we had both families come which was kind of perfect because my family is really small or maybe it just looked that way next to the Erickson clan. I tried to get Bryce to come, but he didn't want to, and actually I felt a little silly I never really did like to be in the spot light, but Bryce did make an appearance, he just hid in the back while I opened all our presents. It was a cooking shower everyone brought their favorite recipe and something you would use to cook it with. Bryce's family is full of amazing cooks and I didn't want to disappoint Bryce with my cooking skills although I think he figured it out the first time I cooked for him. I made Navajo Tacos and for some reason getting the oil at just the right temperature was really tricky for me. I had smoke coming out our doors. Even people from the 4th floor came down to see if the apartment was burning down, Nope I'm just cooking up a storm for my man. When he got to the apartment he walked in and said I was wondering if that smell was coming from you. I think he lost faith in me from then on out. First impressions are everything! Anyways I was hoping that if I got some of the Erickson's recipes than I could restore some of Bryce's faith in me. I got some really great presents, and some great recipes too!!!

Speaking of good cooks and good food the food at my shower was amazing!!! Camille made those fruity flowers aren't they cute. She is pretty amazing in the Kitchen as well.
