The Perfect Medicine for Bridezillas!

Now I know why they make you wait until the end of your engagement to go through the temple. It is medicine for bridezillas. It helps you remember the big picture. A wedding isn't all about pictures, and flowers, and cakes, and dresses. It's going to the temple and being sealed to the person that you love. My mom spent the day with me and we went to the Distribution Center to get all my temple stuff. I was so excited to finally have my own stuff, and I couldn't wait to use them! I wasn't sure who I was suppose to invite, but I wanted it to be very intimate, so I only invited Bryce's brothers and sisters and his mom and dad and my grandparents and my grandma's sisters Ruth and Dorothy. I invited my brother and sister-in law, but they couldn't make it. I was really sad that they couldn't be there, but I also felt very grateful that all the Erickson's could be there. I am excited to have them as my brothers and sisters they have always treated me like family since day one. I had the best experience going through the temple for my first time. I heard that for some people it is kind of a shock, but for me it was pure bliss. There is so much peace that you feel going through the temple, and even though I didn't understand everything I knew that the principles and ordinances done there where true and necessary for our salvation, and that is all that really matters right now. I am so grateful that I was able to go to the temple and make covenants to our Heavenly Father. It was the perfect night. I couldn't stop smiling. True happiness is when you now you are doing the right thing!
