Dropping the bomb

Since everyone was coming over for mothers day it was the perfect opportunity to tell them our big news. Telling Bryce's family was really fun! His mom was the first person we told. Her reaction was a mixture of screaming and crying. Brooke and her friend were there too. Bryce introduced me to Brooke's friend as his fiance it took Brooke a minute, but then she saw the ring and gave my a huge hug while jumping up and down. He told Penney that I got a manicure and they did a really bad job. He asked her to look at my hand and see if maybe she could fix it. She looked at my hand really confused and said I don't see anything wrong with it. (Thank goodness I probably would have felt dumb if she told me that I suck at painting my nails). I had to point to my ring finger and tell her it was most that finger. She too started screaming and picked me up. haha I was surprised that she could lift me. I loved all the screaming, and jumping, and excitement. However my family was a little different I'm pretty sure they just sat there and smiled. My mom's smile was probably because when I told her that I needed to tell her something she thought I was pregnant. Thanks a lot mom!!! Even my boss at work was more excited than my family was. I didn't even have to say anything. He noticed the huge rock on my finger and started freaking out. I loved it!!! There is nothing better than telling people the best news of your life and having them be almost as excited as you are! I'm glad you Erickson's are happy because pretty soon I am going to be one of you. I couldn't ask to be part of a better family!!!
